THE BLACK CAT HALLOWEEN 2012
Live in koncert: MOTH (DK)
DJ’s: Nat Inc., Primi (Club Stahlwerk), Batling (Bad Wiring)
Finally it’s that time of the year! Yes, we are talking about Halloween! And of course The Black Cat is once again ready with THE Halloween party of the year!
This time we have found a new great location for the party. Lakfabrikken is an old abandoned factory at Amager with a total raw and almost Berlinsque underground atmosphere. And with the usual traditional great The Black Cat decorations, the Halloween party at Lakfabrikken will be totally unique and exciting.
Live band will be the danish upcoming postpunk/goth stars MOTH, who have impressed us very much with their dark and depressive blend of post-punk, gothic rock, synthpunk and minimal wave. Imagine a mixture of Joy Division, Before, (old school) Sisters Of Mercy with more synthbased rock. We love it – and we think you will do as well!
DJ’s this night will be DJ Nat Inc., DJ Primi (Club Stahlwerk) and DJ Batling (Bad Wiring), who will deliver a high end selection of the best of gothic rock, industrial, EBM, darkwave, synth, postpunk, dark rock etc.
As always, out magnificent jury will honor the best costumes with prices sponsored by our good friends from Black No 1, VME, Braincorp, Another World Entertainment, TS Rubber Bags, Pagh - Floral Decor Art, Elysionshop, Gadgetcity and Jägermeister! The categories will be announced soon! Watch this space!
The theme for this Halloween is Ancient Egypt, which will be reflected in the atmosphere and decorations, but for costumes it’s all up to you!
Invitations/tickets can be bought at Sex Beat Records, Studiestræde 18, Copenhagen for 90 DKK (+ fee). We strongly encourage you to buy your ticket in advance, as we have limited space this time. Tickets will be available from 10th of October!
